1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how NetGame Entertainment N.V. (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on its corporate website (the “Website”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we process personal data more generally.

The Company is a Business-to-Business (B2B) gaming technology and software provider licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA). The Website is an informational corporate site; it is not a player-facing gaming service. We apply the EU ePrivacy Directive and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as a benchmark of best practice, given that our visitors and Operator base include EU/EEA-facing parties.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them more efficient, and to provide information to the website owner. Similar technologies (such as pixels, local storage, and software development kits) may be used for comparable purposes; references to “cookies” in this Policy include those technologies.

3. Cookies we use

Note: The Website does not currently deploy analytics or marketing cookies. If any non-essential technology requiring consent is introduced, it will not be activated until prior affirmative consent has been obtained.

The session cookie is strictly necessary and is set only after a user successfully signs in to the Client Area. The local-storage items identified above support the cookie notice or user-selected interface functions. The Website currently presents an informational cookie notice; acknowledging it does not activate analytics or marketing technologies.

You can delete cookies and local-storage values through your browser settings. If technologies requiring consent are introduced, the Website will also provide a means to refuse, change, or withdraw that consent.

Withdrawing consent, where applicable, will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal and will not disable strictly necessary cookies.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the Website to function incorrectly.

5. Third-party cookies

The Website loads certain fonts, images, software assets, certification seals, and user-requested game demos from third-party providers. We do not intentionally deploy third-party analytics or advertising cookies. An embedded game-demo provider may use cookies or local storage under its own privacy and cookie notices. Where a provider acts on our behalf, its processing is governed by appropriate contractual safeguards, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Data protection

Where cookies collect information that constitutes personal data, that data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including the sections on legal bases, international transfers, retention, security, and data subject rights. Questions about the processing of personal data may be directed to our Data Protection Officer.

7. Changes to this Policy and review

This Policy takes effect on the date of approval recorded below and, unless revised earlier, has a next scheduled review date twelve (12) months thereafter. We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. Material changes will be notified on the Website.
